The beauty and essence of nature and its cycles of life resonate in my soul. I am a “hunter-gatherer” and can often be found foraging in Ninigret Pond for shellfish or its environs for berries. Whether I paint crabs and oysters or shells and flowers, I am living in and with our treasured island home, Earth. ‘Tis a blessed gift we have been given. We must do everything in our power to protect and preserve it.
